Healing & Releasing
Breathe in love, breathe out pain…
Breathe in joy, breathe out heartache…
Breathe in strength, breathe out tears…
Breathe in warmth, breathe out shivers…
Breathe in light, breathe out darkness…
Breathe in Hashem, breathe out blockages…
Breathe in hope, breathe out despair…
Breathe in faith, breathe out doubt…
Breathe in Life, breathe out death…
Healing and releasing…
All that is meant to be left to the universe…
And all that we are meant to keep with us for eternity.
Amen
Below is a poem written by a colleague who knows firsthand what it is to grieve. She is a fellow yogi, psychotherapist and earth angel. Breathe it in:
Completion Does Not Require Contemplation
Whether it comes in an
“Ah Ha” moment of realization,
or the result of ongoing
strategic thinking,
completion does not
require contemplation.
The knowing is visceral.
With attention, the
body, mind & heart
recognize termination.
With intention, the portal
to divine spirit is opened.
With faith and trust, the wisdom of
your highest power can be heard.
In nature, there are seasons,
times of death and decay
and moments of
reseed and rebirth.
Life transitions reflect nature.
For every home bought,
there is a time of sale.
For every baby born,
there is an elder who passes on.
For every love affair entered,
there is eventual loss, disappointment
and ultimate death.
No one likes the darker half
of the life/death cycle.
But to ignore its presence
is an illusion aimed at
protection and deception.
Neither really work well
or for very long.
Completion requires no contemplation.
It just is what it is when it comes
knocking on the door of heart strings.
