We have been meeting monthly since January and have a very active, participatory group. Most of our facilitators are TBE members interested in science—both professionals and laypersons. In May, we had a great talk led by a guest speaker, my nephew Adam Fisher, who works as a consultant on sustainability for both new and old buildings.

Our next meeting will be May 24 at 7 p.m. For now, the consensus is that we will stay on Zoom. Our facilitator will be TBE member Dr. Marilyn Galler Sofer, a retired nephrologist (kidney specialist). She will discuss the development of the artificial kidney. It should be a very interesting evening. As always, you don’t have to be a club regular to join.
